6 Months

Six months ago, I weighed 256 pounds. Today, I’m 218. This transformation wasn’t just about weight loss—it was about redefining my identity after 12 years of active duty in the Navy. Leaving that structure behind, I stepped into the unknown, launching StoneMade Athletics in Sunbury, Ohio, while balancing life as a husband, father of four, and full-time student.

I’m double majoring in Exercise Science and Business Entrepreneurship, preparing to transfer to Ohio State this fall. Every day is a challenge, but it’s one I embrace. I don’t have a business mentor, so I’ve had to become my own—learning through experience, adapting, and staying relentless in my pursuit of success.

None of this would be possible without my support system. My wife and business partner keeps me grounded, and my kids remind me why I push forward. Discipline, consistency, and a commitment to “earning it” every day have been my guiding principles. I didn’t follow a fad diet or magic program—just real work: strength training, conditioning, and dialing in my nutrition.

This journey has been about more than just the number on the scale. It’s about ownership—of my health, my business, and my future. StoneMade Athletics isn’t just a training program; it’s a mindset. If I can build this from the ground up, so can the athletes I train. Own your work, own your results, and own your future. That’s what this transformation is really about.
